Nepal’s President Elected

The President, Dr Ram Baran Yadav, and the Vice President, Parmananda Jha, of Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal have assumed their respective offices after being elected in the electoral run off held on July 21.
Similarly the Chair of the Constituent Assembly, Subash Nemwang has also assumed his office after being elected unopposed to the post on July 24, 2008.
The path for the formation of the government has now become clear after the Prime Minister submitted his resignation to the President after the latter’s swearing in ceremony.
