Travelers to Nepal preparing for the autumn
September 5th, 2008
Travelers, especially the trekkers and mountaineers are busy preparing for the autumn season to start. Some of them have been arriving before the end of the monsoon season and heading towards their destinations. This season is particularly going to be busy as there is much sought for political stability in Nepal. Travelers are trying out new destinations that were rarely visited before.
There will be a lot of activities in mountaineering in Nepal as the Chinese have not allowed expeditions from the Tibetan side. This is good news for Nepal as that brings revenues for the government and the the industry. Travelers also should be able to benefit from the reduction in the mountaineering royalty introduced this year.
Travelers who intend to travel to Nepal should book their tickets early in advance, if they have not done that yet. Many of the airlines are reporting that most of their tickets have already been booked.
