Yes, you can exchange unused Nepalese currency to US$ at the branch office of Nabil Bank at the airport. For this you have to have unused foreign exchange encashment receipts (the bank will keep the exchange receipt for its records). If you are leaving for India, you can exchange between INRs. 500 to 2,000 after presenting the ticket.
