The Chitwan National Park and the Sagarmatha National Park are listed in the World Heritage sites .

The Chitwan National Park contains tropical and subtropical forests which are the habitat of animals like one horned rhinoceros, tigers, gharial crocodiles and about 450 species of birds. You can reach Chitwan National Park in about 7 hours in any buses that travel to the Eastern side of country through Mugling.

The Sagarmatha National Park is the home of the highest mountain on the planet. It is also the home of the Sherpa people and has beautiful monasteries. This park consists of one of the most popular trekking route in Nepal, the Everest Base Camp Trek. You can fly to Lukla from Kathmandu and trek to reach the Sagarmatha National Park.
