International transfer of money is possible and it’s easiest to send money through private companies like Western Union or Moneygram. Yeti Travels, Sita World Travels and Nabil Bank are agents of Western Union. You’ll need your passport and a ten-digit transfer code to collect funds at a Western Union branch. Moneygram, which uses Eyelink, has offices in Thamel, Boudha, Butwal and Pokhara.
