Do I have to pay the entry fee to the Langtang National Park while on the Helambu Trek?

If you trek in the Helambu region, you will enter the Langtang National Park. Here, you will have to pay an entry fee of Rs. 1000 (US$ 15). There are checkpoints at Magen Goth, Khutumsang and Sermathang and you will not be able to proceed without a permit obtained after paying the entry fee.
