Where can I apply for the TIMS card?
Updated 4 Months 9 days ago ( number of views: 16)
You can apply for the Trekkers’ Information Management System (TIMS) card at Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) and Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN) in Kathmandu or Pokhara. Individual trekkers will get the TIMS card for free and trekkers traveling in a group will be charged Rs. 100 (around one and half dollars) per person if you apply for the card from these agencies. You could also receive the card from government registered trekking companies, which might charge a bit higher price compared to those of NTB and TAAN.
