International Elephant Race 2008 is the fifth edition of the International Elephant Race. The race is organized by the Hotel Association Nepal, Chitwan Chapter in Sauraha, Chitwan.
The main objective of organizing this race is to increase the population of the healthy and trained Asian elephants, provide insurance coverages to the elephant drivers and helpers, to promote elephant based safaris and to ban cruelty against the elephants.

Download and fill the registration form for the elephant race and submit that to the organizing committee. The deadline for registration is December 10, 2008. The registration cost is Rs 10,000.00 for participating Nepali individual or company and US$ 200.00 for participating foreign individual or company.
